20 week belly shots!

(Sorry I can't seem to get picasa to make them bigger without doing the weird cropping thing.)

Ok, so here they are... the long awaited belly shots. Remember, this is 20 weeks (and sick with a sinus infection)! We're just over half way there (since we probably won't make it 40). Tomorrow will be the big announcement... stay tuned!

Princess Meredith

 

 

Meredith's favorite new thing is dressing up like a princess. She was Belle every day until we gave her a Rapunzel dress the day the movers arrived with all of our belongings. Now, she's Rapunzel every day! :)

20 week ultrasound TOMORROW!!!

Just a heads up for anyone actually checking this, we have an appointment with our new OB/perinatologist tomorrow afternoon at 2:00 Arizona time (West Coast Time). I will post something on the blog once we're home and know what we're having. :) I also promise belly pictures within the next 48 hours.

Amelia's Island Vacation

So far it's been a relaxing and fun week! (Thank you, thank you, thank you Warrior Vacations!!) We only remembered to start taking pictures yesterday, but you'll get the idea. The first picture is the view from our room/porch. We have enjoyed golf cart tours, pool time, the beach, golf, s'mores on the beach, and just this morning, Bobby and Meredith are taking a bicycle ride together.

Tomorrow the island vacation comes to an end and we start our cross-country driving adventure towing the Explorer behind us. (Watch out I-10! We'll be blazing a trail at 55 MPH!) Sierra Vista, AZ, here we come... eventually.

The twins at 12 weeks, 6 days

They may be in separate sacs after all, making things a lot less risky for all of us. Both are growing well and at the same rate, which is important. They were absolutely adorable and a few times were both sucking their thumbs while facing one another! :)

Catching up

So, below are just lots of fun pictures from the past several weeks that I have been absent from the blog scene. We had a great time when Nonnie and Pops came, meeting Aunt Kaylin a few weeks later, going to the SC Aquarium in Charleston and visiting the Wildlife Reserve at Oatland Island near Savannah. Enjoy!

The Long Lost Blogger Returns...

Sorry it has been such an incredibly long time since our last post. Man! Sometimes things just get busy and crazy and you don't even know how to keep up with it all (I normally don't, hence the blog being abandoned temporarily). I can't promise it won't happen again, but just to give everyone at least a small update on the BIG things happening in our world...

Bobby got promoted to Captain on Friday, May 29th and we are so proud!
Bobby left for training in New Mexico on Saturday, May 30th for 17 days and we are so sad!
Meredith and I are enjoying one another's company and pointing out pictures of Daddy throughout the house until he returns-- taking it day by day.

In the end, we know it will be good for us all to have a little "preparation" for the "real deal" coming up in November.
